Welcome to a dive into the deep yet down-to-earth thoughts and sonic of Ryan The Son.
At his core, Ryan is a storytelling songwriter that processes the world around and within through music, rhythmic poetry, and other forms of writing. You'll mostly hear the music though.
Ex-disaster relief worker and basketball jock, Ryan The Son (formerly known as Ryan Thomas) has worked out his worldview through the production and writing of albums like Journey of A Kid and Domicile — exhibiting sounds from Indie/Hip-Hop to Pop, World, and RnB. See discography for more.
Throughout his career he's headlined and performed internationally and domestically — telling a story through music that people from multiple walks of life can relate to.
Fans of Indie Pop/RnB, singer-songwriters, and even Hip-Hop connoisseurs can find their voice at some point in each timeless music project.
From dropping basketball, processing PTSD, to embracing multiple genres of music — a lot has happened. Though he's evolved, Ryan is still Ryan, with a little bit more maturity expressed from track to track. He creates publicly in the hope that many may find their voice in his music and more.
